It's that time of the year again... am curious to see where everyone thinks the megafunds stack up in terms of prestige. The funds that I am considering megafunds are the following (having raised >$15B for a PE fund): BX, KKR, Apollo, Carlyle, TPG, CD&R, WP, Advent, TA, Bain, H&F, SL, Vista, TB, Permira, CVC, EQT, Apax. I did banking and am assc at one of the largest of the above funds and my spidey senses tell me I do just as much mindless bitch work for someone else now as I did before

TA is an amazing shop but doesn't belong on this list given growth focus / average TEV of deal.
