Hi, I'm hoping to seek advice.
I got an offer all-in for a first-year associate at a PE firm, all in around $170-180K in a non-NY / SF city with pretty low COL.
I can't help thinking that I should have negotiated more. At the time, I was super excited to leave so I quickly asked but didn't hold off for longer to see if they could offer something better.
Do you think there's anything I can do now that the offer has been signed / any advice moving forward? Perhaps, I can negotiate for more my second year?

Whatever you ask for you can expect the midpoint of the 2 sides
Eg they say 200k you say 2mm you get 1.1mm. So the higher the better
Probably nothing you can do now. You can ask for more at bonus time and/or a higher raise for next year. At this point you have no leverage and no basis to retrade an executed contract
I think you should have! How big is the team and do you have any leverage? If they have 20 juniors, your power is very diminished but if they have only 2 juniors, then you have all the power. Do a good job and make sure they cannot live without you.
Not sure how "Low-COL" your city is but if you're at a small shop ( 10 people, fundless or only $100m fund), that doesn't feel too outrageous.
