What smaller pe funds (not the classic MF’s) would you consider working for after 2-3 years of BB IB experience.
I want to work for a smaller but prestige PE shop in NY and wanted to ask what comes to mind.

If it's smaller it's more likely you're going to be silo'ed. I can think of two but I would check PEI 300:

Siris - Tech
Why these two? What are your thoughts on them?
Kelso, CD&R(pretty big but not as big of a public profile as MFs), Searchlight, Gamut

Just to add on: Harvest Partners, L Catterton, Welsh Carson, Sycamore.
Could also add Court Square and HG to the mix. Any further thoughts on these?
