Non Technical PE Prep

Ignore title. College senior here. Starting FT in June at a good group that places well. Decided as a SA I want to do on cycle. Does anyone have advice on what to do in the time leading up to it. Obviously will still enjoy every moment of my senior year and prep for modeling, but curious if I should try to work in some networking chats with group or school alumni. Also have a few questions below. Are HHs already looking and gathering data on me behind the scenes? Are they looking at my LinkedIn or a list from the staffer? How much research should I do on firms? If I have a list of 3, will the odds they invite me to interview be high if I express interest to their HH? Do I need to make a priority list in case I have overlapping interviews? How many firms can I realistically shoot for?
