I understand that Nordic Capital and PAI Partners are big time players in Europe, but does anyone have insight on their US presence? They both opened up a NYC office in recent years and wondering what the deal flow is like, as well as culture and WLB given european background. Is comp similar to US MF/UMM funds?

It's Amity Search Partners. They also do PAI and a few other European names (Cobepa, Bridgepoint, and Cranemere were the ones cited but could be more).

Know comp is ~280k for aso1 in nyc. Growing team here and its partner track. They expect you to actually go to the hq for a few months during aso years which could be a very unique experience.

This is probably referring to PAI. Not sure how things were 3 years ago but believe comp for Nordic is ~380k for aso1 in NY, and they're not partner track.
