Insane. If anything, market in UMM is super high end, highly subsidized plan. I don’t remember the details but I think my health plan costs something like $25k a year of which my employer pays like $23k. Huge red flag and would jump ship over this alone. 

 

They are just going to get worse-tier canidates than other MM/UMM names and maybe some attrition, which they are probably fine with. This industry sadly is full of push-overs 1) because of carry aspect at mid and senior levels and 2) the competition is simply too high where they know they can replace someone, especially a junior, leaving easily.
