On-cycle 2027 Fund Strategy / Comparisons

Hey Everyone,

Currently trying to work my way through on-cycle preparation and one thing I am struggling a lot with is fund strategy. Headhunters keep asking what strategies I'm most interested in, and I'm finding quite difficult to research answers other than "buyout". I've looked at different MF's and their corresponding funds, but it can be quite difficult to get a holistic answer and what exactly differentiates one MF's flagship from another.

Would be incredibly grateful and appreciative if someone can give some insight / overview into what HH's are looking for in answers here given we haven't hit the desk yet and only have online resources and coffee chats to go off of. The technical prep is self explanatory but really want to make sure I have a strong grasp of these strategies if I plan to work at a place for a couple years. Thanks in advance!
