Feel like on-cycle recruiting for traditional buyout is well-outlined on the forum. For those who have participated in on-cycle for distressed/special sits funds, what was your experience? How did you prepare?

Seems that a lot of DD/SS funds have generally fewer seats and less attrition than traditional buyout shops. This leads to off-cycle.
