Ignore them. PE is a dead end asset class going forward.
Been in PE 4 years now and while I hate to say it's dead, I definitely don't see it as the hot spot to be going forward for sure... These accelerated timelines feel more like desperation now than getting "ahead" of anything.

Having an offer in hand before you start helps focus on current job since you don't need to recruit anymore lol

I mean the types of firms that recruit that early are not looking for competence. They are looking for people who fit a very specific type of mold.
Recruiting this early makes a ton of sense when you understand what it is they are looking for
I mean they are selecting for competence, that’s what an accelerated timeline selects for. What it doesn’t select for are those with curiosity, independent/creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, wide interests, etc
