OTPP is the highest paying pension in Canada for P.E. and their comp is nearly on-par with a typical Canadian P.E. shop. They, like CPP, do a ton of co-investments and never take the lead on a deal. This is good if you value work/life balance but not very fulfilling if your job is centered more around relationship management than actually sourcing proprietary deal flow and being a true principal in the space.
