PE Background Check for Non-Investment Role

I recently got an offer for a dream job at a great firm. Could a consumer report/credit score/debt prevent me from getting the job? I don’t have a great credit score (it’s fair), but no collections and pay all my bills on time. I do have credit card debt from an accident. No criminal history, went to a good school, and credit utilization is acceptable... Should I be worried? I’m not an investment professional, so will it factor in heavily?
