Thanks – is it right to say associate are 2 years so ASO2 should be in the ball park of 240k - 275k?
Yep. Another thing to rmbr / consider is that a few of the Toronto GPs give carry at the SR ASO level, in addition to levered co-invest, so the NPV of these seats is a bit higher than the advertised TC
thanks, really appreciate the insight – recently accepted a PE offer at a MM shop, not really sure if they do levered co-invest or provide carry ops for sr aso and aso1 comp is kinda on the low end (~$210k) when compared to banking. took it bc I wanted to get out of IB and strategy aligns with what I want to do… but feels like I’m leaving $ on the table
Can you specify which GPs give carry / levered co-invest? And by sr asso level is that ~3rd-4th year asso, or after ~4 years of asso total?
