PE firm verifying GPA

Hey y’all I recruited on-cycle last year and landed a UMM offer. The resume I had sent in listed a 3.6 GPA (3.57 at the time the resume was written) and my gpa had fallen to a 3.51 after the final semester. Totally stupid for not double checking. I hadn’t edited my GPA line since my junior year.

How egregious is this and what should I do? A buddy had told me three things: 1.) they don’t request transcripts (I feel like this isn’t 100% true) 2.) a .1 difference (technically a .06 difference) isn’t that big of deal even if they do check. 3.) disclose it w the firm

Been stressing about this and would love anyone’s advice or experience

Quit stressing it’ll be fine. It’s explainable and verifiable anyways.
