PE First Round Off-Cycle Interview
What’s good boys, I’ve got a first round interview at a UMM PE firm next week which consists of 3 30 min meetings with senior associates/VPs. This is my first one of these but I have been prepping pretty rigorously with technicals/paper lbos/case studies. Just wanted to see what I should generally expect here - should it be mostly behaviorals and deal experience related stuff? Or am I most likely going to get a bunch of techs too? I’m guessing the answer is probably “it depends” but was wondering what everyone else’s experience has been…

Personal experience has skewed more towards behavioral and deal / market discussions. Have had a few technicals but if you’re in banking they should be layups. I’d be prepared to go deep on the things you’re worked on so far.
