PE Principal Comp

I’m in final round of interviews for a Principal PE role at a MM fund (latest fund $5B raised). I’m in NYC and fund is based in Boston. There hasn’t been any mention on comp throughout the entire process and now I’m being asked what my expectations are. I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot either way. Can people in similar roles please share their comp/ offers at this level for comparison please?
I’ll share info once I have one from them too.

For clarity, I’m currently in PE too but have been at my firm for years and haven’t really been in market a long time so I want to make sure I’m setting the stage right.
