PE Undergrad Recruiting

I know it’s not common but some of the larger firms are starting to open up analyst classes. would anyone be willing to lay out the ground in terms of which firms recruit undergrad SA or full time analysts and how the process works?

in terms of recruiting for SA, do most do it as the same time as IB or is it after soph summer?

TYIA, just trying to acquaint myself with the process. currently a freshman

Mega funds that have summer analyst and analyst private equity programs:

Blackstone, KKR, Bain Capital, Vista Equity Partners, Ares. Warburg Pincus also has an analyst program BUT no summer analyst program.

there are also middle market and smaller firms like audax GTCR Alpine Altamont that offer analyst programs but unsure if those are always worth taking over top IB, unlike the MF programs which definitely are

recruitment for all of the above is pretty much in-line with IB SA recruiting

Would you happen to know altamont and alpine comp?
