I have a second round interview with PEM and part of the interview will be an hour long technical exam. Any idea of what the technical exam might consist of? Is it a lbo model? I'm really interested in this firm so any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Probably not. These guys are fund investors. It will likely consist of some sort of attribution analysis analyzing fund performance metrics, with the respective deal investment teams. Don't really do lbo models, even for co-invest cases - they piggy back off of sponsors work heavily.
