Pivot | REPE -> TAS (DD) -> IB (-> PE)

Hi mates.

I'm currently working at a REPE and want to pivot to IB (to then, end in the glorious PE). I found my profile somewhat unattractive when applying for this type of position, even though I worked on deal experience with real assets (acquisitions, divestitures, developments, etc). Currently, I'm in the last stage of the DD (TAS) team at a Big 4. So, ... based on your experience, Does it make sense to execute this transition? As a pro, I identified the fact of working with companies (rather than assets) at a global scale, in contrast, I understand that DD focuses only on QoE (solely financial analysis, valuation is performed by another team). Any insight is appreciated.
