Very close to a lock for Booth/Kellogg/MIT/Columbia (I’ve seen people in similar seats get rejected though so make sure you put in the effort on your essays and recs, etc.). Slightly better than a coin flip for Wharton which has become increasingly difficult for finance types in recent years (have heard of UMM and MF associates getting rejected). H/S are a crap shoot and impossible to predict.
I understand the HBS and GSB are crap shoots but how do firms like WP, H&F, Bain, etc place consistently? Is it more guaranteed from certain firms?
A lot of them have a reach-out program
Also will let others opine but I don’t think you need to retake the GMAT. 750 is above median at every one of these schools and I don’t think an incremental 10-20 points is going to help you. Would rather spend that time crafting your app.
Indian male is a tough applicant pool, though much worse as Indian male engineer v finance. If it isn’t a challenge to get 10-20 more points OP should give it a shot (especially given the low GPA) but not worth it if significant additional effort
.
Quick question fam, is Chinese American male finance profile viewed similarly as Indian in terms of applicant pools
I'm thinking of retaking because I fked up in the last few mins of the last test and could have got 760/770 otherwise. It was my second attempt (for first one didn't study much and wasted my money)

It was my second attempt (for first one didn't study much and wasted my money)Curious how many hours/time you put into prepping for gmat to get that result. Thx, also if you can join a nonprofit and work on extracurriculars, that will improve your odds a bit more
Broooo what on earth is this username 😭😭💀💀
GMAT high enough, might as well spending time reaching out to alumni in all M7 and be clear if and how your target school can get you want post-MBA, then integrate what you learned from those conversations into your essays and prepare for the interview. Can also attend those on-site sessions for prospective students to understand how each school can provide.
Your MBA networking starts from now, remember to keep following up with all the alumni even after you get the school & new job offer and no matter which school you choose in the end.
Will do. Thanks
Yo what is with your account name my guy
😂😂😂
OP I was curious as if you studied for gmat while working, I’m going to start in IB and hope to go to business school like in 6 years so I was wondering if studying for the gmat whilst working is doable
Totally doable. Usually studied on the weekends and in office during no deals seasons
Pretty good shot
I'm sorry, what is your username again?
Why has nobody else mentioned/noticed that??
'The Office' show reference. Littlekidlover was for some reason already taken, so had to improvise. Search 'Michael Scott Littlekidlover' on yt
Tough profile for HWS.
Good shot at Tuck/Booth. Maybe CBS
