Process Timing for VP Role

Currently going through a VP process where I was referred by a former colleague. He doesn't work at the firm but knew someone there so less helpful in terms of gaining color. I've gone through the initial phone screens, case study, and more recently went in-person to meet with about half a dozen people. I'm still waiting to hear back.

Anyone else gone through these more unstructured processes at the Senior Associate/Vice President/Principal level to better understand timing? We're also in mid/late August so I imagine people are a little checked out until post-Labor Day.

All my prior roles were relatively quick turnarounds with structured processes for IB and PE.
