One of the questions asked was my summer analyst email. Is this typical? Slightly concerned my firm may be annoyed given the fact that I haven't even started training yet.

Very typical, I wouldn't worry about it. Often they'll just use the email format of your firm and blast all of the analysts at once. I've been asked by headhunters to provide the emails of the junior analyst class below me. Your bank won't know that they email you unless they bother looking, which they don't.
