Seconding this about 300k. MF can afford to quote at a slight discount because of their name, but literally nobody I know at KKR/BX has been unhappy with comp. It's a coveted exit for a reason

 

What is considered “top of the street” for 1st and 2nd year associates today? $350k is great but I think that’s more common today among MFs. Would be curious if anyone had insight into comp at these places since historically they pay the most. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s closer to $400k for 1st years and $450k+ for 2nd years

 

Apollo is year-end bonus w/ $110-120k for stub bonus (so $370-390k annual)

 

Yes for their hedge fund, not sure about their private credit group

 

Curious if KKR / BX will bump their comp, I know it's not meaningful in the long run and name brand makes it an extremely competitive seat but seems a bit low compared to market
