Recruiting - What to expect when it's so early
Would especially appreciate insight from PE professionals and those who have recruited in the last year. My question is - what will interviews be like if they presumably start this summer for first years and most of us have very limited deal experience? Thanks everyone.
I'm sorry, what? Are you trying to say on-cycle PE recruiting for 1st year IB analysts are in the summer? You do realize we don't even finish training until around August, right?
Even this past cycle, the recruiting was in December. It might move back into late November, but not 3+ whole months.
I'm not sure. I've been told by colleagues to be ready in August for HHs and then recruiting in the following month.

This has to be facetious.
Friend interning at a non-MF, but still known fund, has been told by associates that recruiting will occur for our class (graduate in 2020) before we graduate.
