Sales to IR in PE/PC
What does the path from sales at a BB leveraged loans S&T desk to the private buy-side look like? Imagining there is some crossover as a sales person being able to learn a complex product in S&T, but I don’t really know much about what IR in private equity or private credit looks like. Not as much interested in WLB/comp but if there are transferable skills and if that move makes sense. Maybe AM makes more sense? What is the most sales-y and similar to S&T? Would love to hear about experiences in IR too
