Search funds in Europe (special focus southern Europe)
How is the search fund universe in Europe (special focus on Iberia welcomed)?
In other threads it was mentioned that it has been very popular in USA and may currently be an overcrowded space? Is there still space for new players in Europe (special focus on Iberia welcomed)?
Anyone has relevant experiences about this topic and willing to share? Or know of succesfull & not successfull experiences that are public so we can research more about?
Hey, im working for a self funded searcher (Amsterdam-based) focused on inbound Spanish travel. If you would like I could maybe get you in touch with him :)
Thanks! However I'd like to have broader vision vs. specific theme
You should start by looking at the IESE SF study. They have global data, unlike the stanford one that only focuses on the US. You might also want to look at funds that invest in SFs and have a global mandate - vonzeo, archipielago, and ambit come to mind.
Are you thinking of going the SF route?
Thanks for the info! Indeed IESE and Stanford have great research on the matter
