Seeking Advice

I’ll soon be starting an internship as a private equity analyst at a very small fund, about $50 MM. From talking to the firm, the experience seems like it will be pretty solid - small team, new fund launching, planned to hopefully exit the largest portfolio company (now 15MM+ EBITDA) or acquire a new company. Any advice on how to make the best impression and/or use this experience to get into a bigger fund with (probably) higher pay after undergrad? I’m interested in PE and am wondering if its possible to get into without going the IB route. I have one more internship and am not sure if I should pursue another PE internship or try to land IB SA at a boutique (i was too late for BB SA 2024)
