Analyst 1 in PE - Other

Not to mention they have their egos boosted from all this outreach and want to sell their business for either 10x revenue claiming everything is recurring or sell their business for multiplier of their BS book value which includes their own sports car under assets

Almost like the buying at 2x EBITDA and flipping for 12x EBITDA days are over for PE....

there's an alpine investors portfolio company called evergreen, amongst many of their other shitty practices i have seen the founders lurking on reddit asking people on the MSP forum to sell their MSP to them. it's worse than you think because they pretend to be a third party "I've heard this firm will buy your MSP you should definitely sell to them" while their username is literally THEIR REAL NAME. so embarrassing.

i found out when i was trying to help out a small business i know with some msp information so went to the subreddit. the employees of that firm shamelessly plug their companies under several threads. it's actually somewhat hilarious, i give that firm 12 months tops.
