Your skill set is very valuable in energy PE (moreso than the technical skills people learn in banking). Having an understanding of strategy will allow you to succeed in the long term - short term skills like modeling and writing boring ICs arent real skills. Good luck

Im in upstream energy PE. What vertical? That’ll completely define the “toolkit”. Is this for investment team - not sure how many structured analyst programs there are at the real shops here so interested in the scope given you describe it as MM
