Summer Offer from boutique PE vs larger non PE form

So I have 2 offers on the table I need to decide pretty soon on. My long term career goal is to go into PE, so the title of this might sound funny but bear with me.

I’m going into my senior year after this summer at a semi target school. I have an offer at a firm doing back end investment work and data analytics and the offer pays pretty dang well for a summer position.

My other offer is at a boutique PE firm. The interview process wasn’t too bad so I’m kinda like “this is too good to be true.” Compensation is normal/on lower end for PE but it’s just a SA Position.

I feel like even though the back end investment firm pays like double for the summer, I should take the Boutique PE offer because it’s more of what I want to do long term (PE). What are your guys’ thoughts?
