Sustaining a life and family in MF PE

Hi all,

I am starting at a well-known tech MF PE shop this summer and I wanted to gauge your thoughts on how best to realistically sustain a life working MF PE hours + maintain health / relationships. 

Of course I understand that the job will be very intense and cause lots of stress, but I would love to hear tips from the folks who have managed to work their way through this world and sustain themselves mentally / physically / emotionally.

Any and all advice / suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
