SWF vs corporate investment
I'm currently working in a fortune 500 corporate investment department, but there is hardly any deal coming in because of the bad economy, so there is hardly any learning. I recently got an offer from a middle eastern SWF (mostly joint venture direct investment in local greenfield projects).
But I want to transit back to GP/VC/HF/Strategic investor in the future, should I take the offer to get more exposure to deals?
Please help me guys! I couldn't get any decent sleep these days.

In summary, taking the SWF offer could provide you with the deal exposure and experience you currently lack, potentially making you a more attractive candidate for future GP/VC/HF roles. However, ensure that the skills and experiences you gain are relevant to your long-term career goals.
