Besides megacaps, any decent MM funds?

Vista Equity comes to mind - not sure if they run all tech verticals, i know they focus on software. I know they are looking to hire and the head of the group is a former head in one of gs tmt's subsector groups

Francisco and Hellman are both MM. great returns, but they aren't mega-fund check sizes.

if you look into growth equity, there's a lot of names in the bay that do that as well. - summit, TA, TCV, general atlantic...

edit: several of the big guys are also building out MM funds... sumeru at SLP, growth @ TPG

Are all of the growth funds you mentioned cold-calling oriented (I know summit is, but thought general atlantic is more of a mega)?

Isn't hellman friedman a pretty substantial fund (among the 20 largest in the world)? They don't pay as well as traditional megas?

H&F is one of the most respected firms in the world. It's almost impossible to get a job there.
