Thoughts about L Catterton?
Throughout the entire PE recruiting process, I've been glued to MFs (largely because I don't know any better), but recently came upon a fund called L Catterton. Does anyone have any opinions/knowledge about the fund?

General note to folks: Whenever you want to find out about a firm, especially historical performance and fund raising history type searches in google like "firm name close fund" "firm name raise fund" etc. and "firm name preferred return" "firm name recommendation." You'll see fund raising trends which signals performance / trajectory and investment recommendation pdfs on how they charge fees / investment strategy / history etc.

Thanks, this is very helpful. I was also more looking to hear about the culture of the shop and if anyone has gone through the PE associate program, how it was.
Amazing thanks!! It won’t let me banana vote right now but I’d give you one if it wasn’t disabled.
Awesome shop with great people (have worked with them a few times). One of the marquee names in Consumer & Retail. Originally called Catterton, but merged with the internal VC arm of LVMH (parent co of Louis Vuitton, Dior..etc.) and then became L Catterton.
Agreed with NESCAC , I'd echo that they have a great reputation in the C/R space. I've know a couple of the guys there and they are pretty sharp. Deal teams tend to be pretty lean from what I remember. Also remember speaking with one of the senior guys who mentioned they have great MBA placement for their Associates.
This is feedback from a few years ago, but as far as I know, nothing major has changed since the merger.
L Catterton uses Opus as their recruiter.
