Transcript for Summer Analyst Process?
I forgot to unenroll before the deadline for a class that I never intended to take last year, and have an odd withdrawn class on my transcript. Will PE firms or banks ever ask for a copy of a transcript to verify GPA or any other reason? Do BBs and MFs require transcripts? I have no problem explaining what happened since I have good academic performance otherwise, but I am worried that it could ding me in a process or if I receive an offer.

Banks likely wont care, given HR at these much larger orgs are, at most, confirming you graduated as part of a background check. Not all, but plenty of PE firms will still check the actual transcript. Nothing you can do now, so I wouldn’t worry about it. If your grades are fine, then it won’t matter anyway.
