Undergrad Full-Time 2022 PE Recruiting?

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone had any insight into when Recruiting would start for PE Analyst roles out of undergrad (starting in 2022)? I wouldn't have made this post, but I came across a posting from Insight Partners for 2022 Analyst recruiting, so was wondering if anyone else starts this early/would be starting soon.

Thanks in advance!

Depends on what you define as "PE". Are you talking about MF/UMM? Growth Equity?  Insight has historically been more Growth-y & the Analyst position you're applying for is 90%+ sourcing.

Went through the process from an Ivy recently. From my recollection, KKR, WP (which I've been told now is more growth-y) and Vista were among the earlier ones, with KKR being in May-ish. Referrals potentially speed-up the process.

For class of 2021, KKR and WP started interviewing late spring / early summer, and offers were out by mid-summer. BX and SL started recruiting late summer since both shops have summer interns, so only do FT recruiting if they have additional spots (I heard BX generally overhires summer interns though). Last year, KKR/BX were very focused on diversity recruiting, while WP/SL seem to be more agnostic and screened for the hardos. Hope that's helpful.

The big PE guys recruited throughout the fall in my year class of 2020. If i remember, superdays were in August for those that had exploding summer offers and interviews continued through to october
