Interviewed last year. Process was weird, I think due to the macro environment and overall slower deal making the hiring process was slow played.

No PE fund yet, target was a Q2-23 launch. I assume at this point that’s going to be Q1-24 launch. I’d guess the investment professionals right now work a lot on Josh’s personal deals, I.e. the commanders.

 

I agree and disagree to an extent. 

The risk is this turns into his family office 2.0. If you go look at some of Josh’s posts about the commanders deal it looks like the 26n team worked on that extensively.

But if you get in early and they perform well in the upper middle market which he states he believes there is a sponsor gap in. (Do we agree with that) I’m sure you’ll see insane financial gain and have great exit opps

 

IMO, It is a multi-asset asset investment management platform, not a family office. Based on recent hires and products coming down the pike, I concur it seems an extraordinary opportunity. AUM is targeted to be in the billions and that is just in the anchor round of its first fund.
