Venture Capital Application

I recently came across an application for a venture capital firm and one of the questions is giving 2-3 startups(not publicly traded) I would invest in or work at and why. How do I go about finding these companies and how should I go about formatting my answer. What should I add?

Also, another question on there is who are the top 1-3 people I know personally who I could name “most likely to succeed”. I think i may have an approach for this but not too sure maybe I am over thinking.

Thank you to anyone, really appreciate the insight here!
