Had some hick-ups in their energy portfolio in prior funds (which hurt their ability to fundraise) - see down-fund with Fund IV. Has stabilized for the most part.

Looks like they’re winding down - they paused fundraising for their latest flagship per the news…
Colleague used to work there, seems decent culture wise. From what I know around market comp but not top end. Co-President / Head of Industrials left firm last yr (believe it was succession related). Founder still runs the show it seems. Few VPs left recently as well.
Low DPI in legacy funds have hindered fundraising efforts. They are in the market with a CV so clearly trying to generate some liquidity.
