This is such an easy question to research, but Carlyle is not industry specific. They have dedicated RE/FIG teams, but the "US Buyout" fund is generalist.
It’s obviously not that easy after all...
Carlyle, KKR, TPG and Warburg are industry specific. Blackstone, Apollo, Bain, H&F are generalist.
