Hello Guys, currently i am writing my M.Sc. Thesis about PE IPO exits.
I need the following data: the names of the companies that did their IPO exit between 2000 and 2010 and were backed by PE firms (just LBO - no VC).
Unfortunately I do not have access to the best fitting database called Dealogic. Dealogic told me, that they are not giving away data to students for whatever reason.
(No, i am not lazy. I already requested every major stock exchange on this planet for the data. Most of them didnt answer or told me to look through evey single IPO prospectus. Only the NYSE was kind enough to help and provide me with some data, which unfortunately only goes from 2010 to 2013. Furthermore all major reports regarding this, especially from e&y, only cover 2010-2013)
Could anyone help me out there? I would obviously tremendously appreciate any help!!
