Will off-cycle PE recruiting be virtual or in-person

Wondering if MF/UMMs are running their off-cycle processes virtually like most of the past 3 years, or are processes in-person now?

Heard the virtual processes in the past cycles have helped even the playing field for candidates working at locations different than the PE firm's HQ. Imagine it would be a nightmare having to travel to a different city over the course of a multi-week processes while getting angry emails from your IB MDs for not showing up / turning in work. Wondering how your firms are planning on running the off-cycle processes going forward for the 2025 associate class.
