Construction Lingo
I'm working on a memo, and I can't decide what sounds more right. Do you complete construction OF a building or ON a building? I think they're both correct, but just curious to know what you guys hear more frequently. Thanks.

This is more of a grammar question, but I would use "of" if it's ground up development and "on" if it's renovation of an existing structure. Regardless, no one is going to give you grief if you do it either way in my opinion.
Second what @"GentlemanAndScholar" said.
"They completed construction of the new library"
"They finished the yearly maintenance on the library"
