CRE Appraiser

I'm currently a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Wondering if anyone else has made a change out of their career to another sector of RE or Finance in general. I work on anything from apartments and Class A offices to multi-tenant industrial and single-tenant retail. Additionally, what is your comp as an appraiser?

Hey CREdible_Value, I think you deserve a response...heck, everyone does. We're listening, sorry about the delay ...my best guess at places on WSO that could help:

Before business school I made high 90s in 2015/2016, then bounced around between 110k to 125k from 2015-2021, got my CG in 2016, but never finished my MAI. Graduated undergrad in 2012 and started working at one of the big shops in 2013 in a secondary market.

I make about $100k as an associate. Was quoted that I should be making between $125k-$150k with my CG. The work life balance is amazing, but I kind of want out tbh.
