Hudson Advisors / Lone Star Funds - RE Investments?
I have seen mixed information on past posts about Hudson Advisors / Lone Star Funds but wanted to get some details on if they are a good shop to work at. Do you think that this is a good name to have on the resume if you want to be in institutional real estate? Is this a shop where you would get a lot of reps on transactions? Is there a reason everyone sits under the Hudson Advisors name (I looked on Linkedin and no one under the age of 40 works at Lone Star except Europeans)?
I've noticed they have done some larger size deals in the equity space recently but they aren't raising as large of funds as they did 5-10 years ago. Really would appreciate any insight.
Solid shop that can write large checks given their size. Not sure how the junior team works there but assume it is a leaner team so can get good reps as a junior. Assume exit opportunities are also decent given Lone Star name, though in RE ppl care way less about name than finance/banking
There’s a post about this company ever two weeks, info hasn’t changed
Doesn’t answer my question, regardless of the culture, etc, is it a good name on the resume if you want to be in RE?
This exact question has been answered several times, read the other threads. If you don’t know how to do basic stuff like use the search function you’re going to be dead weight wherever you work
