Leverage Investment banking or private equity experience into becoming an elite luxury relator

How would someone use their ib analyst or associate investment banking experience or maybe their PE experience to become a heavy hitter as a luxury real estate agent?

To be honest, it wouldn't matter that much. Luxury real estate is about connections and most brokers that are successful come from successful families. For example, just look at Million Dollar Listing. Most of the guys on that show built their careers off their parents and those connections. I would advise against it but don't think that IB experience or PE experience will give you a leg up.

When I was a broker one of the top people there used to be an MD at an investment bank. He parlayed his contacts in financial services and his coverage group to tenant rep.
How would you use your skills? Well I think IB is a better start than PE. And as you move up you start developing relationships and selling. You can than take those relationships with you if they are strong enough.
