Out of Undergrad RE opportunities

Hello, I am current a student at University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I am a finance student and want to work in Real Estate because I can see myself working in this space long term and generally like the field. End goal is to go out on my own after a couple years of experience. I see a lot of talk about acquisitions, asset management, and IS. For a student coming from a "semi target/non target" what role should I be realistically gunning for? My school is in a huge metro area so there are plenty of nearby networking opportunities for me. Comp is not my #1 priority with just starting off but I want a job that can help me develop technical skills to hopefully go to a REPE/REIT and then go off on my own. I do realize that acquisitions is the best role for this but is it realistic with my background? If not what other roles should I be looking at? Also any recommendations on what GPA I should go for, internships I should look for, and clubs to join would be awesome!

Thanks in advance
