Real Estate Investment Analyst OR Sales and Trading Analyst

Hi all, Hope your keeping well!

I recently got an offer for a Real Estate Investment role for the summer (Blackrock, PSP, Aviva etc.) and a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst Role at a BB. I don't really have a long term goal as of yet but I would like to keep my options open. I have an interest in both industries I am just confused about the long term prospects for each. I am in my second year studying Econ at uni.

Many thanks in advance!

Well, you are posting in the real estate forum... so... not sure if you are looking for "unbiased" opinions or not!

That said, since this a summer between 2nd and 3rd year, getting return offers isn't a big objective, and further, you get another chance next summer for another SA

So, you have a legit buyside SA offer and a legit sellside SA offer.... Personally, I'd take the buyside one all day long. I also S&T sounds boring as hell to me (but, um yeah, I'm a buyside real estate guy).

I think getting a opportunity to see legit buyside operations is great, and a lot of UG interns never see it. S&T is well, S&T.
