REIT/REPE Financial Modeling?

Hi everyone, just had a quick question about the level of financial modeling necessary to get into a REIT or a REPE fund as an analyst or an associate. Would you need to know how to do any sort of M&A modeling, an LBO, or any other modeling outside a DCF? Trying to improve my modeling skills and don't want to waste time on anything superfluous
