To transition out of CRE Brokerage or stay in?

Graduated w/ Finance & Real Estate degree in May 2019. Immediately started with one of the larger global brokerage firms. I fully understood starting in brokerage at 22 y/o would be a grind and compensation would be sparse the first one or two years while ramping up. I have a multifamily background and genuinely enjoy and am educated in the asset class. It has been 8 months now and I am now realizing the multifamily platform at my given regional office is not built out enough for me to add value or gain experience. There is no real "team", just one senior advisor who has transitioned into the business and is lacking mentorship capabilities.

Disclaimer: While I would obviously like to start making money, I am not significantly financially burdened and would like to make a career in brokerage work if it takes more continued financial "suffering".

Decision:

1.) Find a salaried position (Appraisal, Underwriting, Analyst) to learn the industry further and get paid while doing it. Then revisit Brokerage or Investment Firm in a couple of years.

2.) Switch brokerage shops and continue to seek out a team where I will be fed small business to learn from while continuing to build out my individual presence.

*I have been in talks with opportunities in both scenarios 1 & 2 but am struggling with the macro thought process.

TLDR: I want to make brokerage work and have the personality and skillset to do so. My current situation is not setting me up for success. I am scared if I leave brokerage for a salaried position, I will have a hard time transitioning back into this side of the industry.

Thanks in advance
