Transitioning to London (how) hard? REAL ESTATE

I am planning a transition to London. Currently working for a german real estate fund (5Bn€ AUM) doing asset/ investment management, around 2yrs on the job now. Looking for REPE, acq. positions or a similar role which im currently in. Also the company does not need to be a big name. I am thrilled about good deals, learning about the process, learning how to make money and not about prestige. Financial modeling is OK, I am prepared for tests. Also I’m fluent in german (obv.) and OK with italian. I want to be prepared before I am applying and before reaching out. What should I focus on in my resume and on my application? Do you have any advice to make the transition smoother, to get interviews etc. Also should I apply directly or via a headhunter? Can u recommend a headhunter for RE? In the end how hard will it be? How many applications do I have to send to get an interview and to get an offer? I would love to hear some insights. I personally don’t know anyone who made such a move (unfortunately). Thank you very much in advance!!
